Usually I don’t like these summits that much, too many people, too much fluff and empowerment stuff. Don’t ask me why I went to this one, but I did. It looked and sounded powerful and glamorous — that gets me every time. I wasn’t disappointed. During two incredibly invigorating days with over 500 fellow women entrepreneurs, I had the privilege of listening to some of the most inspirational speakers I have heard in a long time. This is a quick run-down of what went down.

Simon Sinek about the power of purpose; Alexis Maybank, Founder and CEO of Gilt about building brand loyalty; and Malia Mills (of the eponymous swimwear brand) about the power of partnerships.

I loved this at first sight. What I know for sure is that all businesses are about people and that respect and kindness are the foundation of success in life and business. At least success as I define it.
